Messier 106 -is an intermediate spiral galaxy in constellation Canes Venatici ,The M106 is discovered by Charles Messier"s observing assistant ,Pierre Mechain in 1781 and is about 24 million light-years from Earth .  The center of galaxy contains an active nucleus classified as a Type 2 Seyfert.
